Well Not quite a fiat. But does a Lancia count?

BEEK

True Classic
Something interesting followed me home yesterday. Found a 76 Beta coupe. Fairly reasonable condition. The interesting thing as every car you find comes with a few boxes of parts the owners had collected over the years. Perusing through those boxes and putting the pasts in stock I ran across a few notable things. One is a brand new OEM fiat CV joint, and amongst 50 or so Factory parts boxes, was this one. The interesting part is. Thats my handwriting on it! Meaning 20 or so years ago I sold this part to one of the owners down the line! Turns out he also used to have a few 124's and gave me a few boxes of new parts for those as well. including a non cracked tan 83 pininfarina dash and this muffler!

Geez, that car needs a serious bumper tuck.
The lancia betas for me are so weak chinned without a bumper they dont look right without one. The later bumpers from the 79- arent so bad. The euro ones are nice. But I have never had those

What? That's a built in workbench or beverage holder, whichever end of the car you're working on! Or at least save the tuck for the last job...

Looks like a fun project!

Who knows what will happen to it. I have so many projects to do for myself and customers. The prior owner pulled the fuel tank, needs to be boiled out. So I will at least go that far. Put it back and try to make it run.

Had a Beta Coupe back in them days.. really nice in many ways.. another one of those motos that is not appreciated by the moto enthusiast community..

I have owned and driven many zagato's and had a 79 hpe once (really want one of those again). Never a coupe or sedan. I am assuming the coupe will be very much like a zagato.

Chassis/suspension is similar..

Later Zagatos had the Bosch L-Jetronic EFI which improved drivability (torque at lower RPM) in many ways.
Nicest of the Beta Coupes ever driven was a Volumex, it was a euro version imported to the US decades ago.

What are the odds that boxed part came back to you after all this time! o_O

Looking around in the backgrounds of your pics, you have a problem my friend. :p🤪 Might be considered a good problem, but a problem none the less. :D For what it's worth, you are not alone.

This blue one has the rare, manually-operated, underhood fuel pump.
