What happened to the Search Thread function?

I used to be able to search a thread I was viewing by clicking on the "Search" field in the upper right corner. Now it goes straight to the advanced search with no option to search only the thread I'm viewing. This was a very convenient function because in long build threads it was easy to find the post I was looking for.

I can't recall using search the way you describe, but does sound right - another change I think is that the default is now "thread titles" and not "post content" : a few times I've wondered why the results are sparse, before realising

I used it quite often when I was going through all the K20 swap threads. I'd remember someone would mention something, and I'd go back and find it. After searching over and over, I got smart and created an offline document with links to the posts I wanted to go back to.

My apologies. That was an oversight when I added the Advanced Search feature recently. All the searches should now be accesible again, at least to logged-in users.
