This is just an FYI post. I have no financial interest in this at all.
I have been communicating with Richard at ProSource Glass International (877-345-2800), thanks to the info from Mechanogeek. https://xwebforums.com/forum/index....rrection-of-an-82-fi-basket-case.34587/page-4. I ordered two new windshields from him. He has been very nice to deal with. He said that they are getting hard to find, but he estimates that that there are maybe 10-12 units out there in Albuquerque, NM, Denver, CO, North Carolina, TN, FL, and New England. He assumes that they are in good condition. If you are close to those locations, you can pick them up and don't pay shipping. Mine had to come out of California so no such luck for me, but at least I was able to combine two for about the same shipping as for one. He is planning on ordering some in the future, but he has to order 10 minimum and can take 4-6 months to get them.
