Low Mileage
I have a fiat x1/9 bertone I acquired with a house I purchased. I was going to fix it up as a project car but now that I'm working on the house getting ready to move in I don't have time and need the space. I don't know anything about the car besides it was a one owner car it broke in the late 90s and the owner parked it outback and it sat up until a few years ago and brought it in the garage and started taking it apart. His plan was to restore it then he passed away. I don't know what it's worth has potential for some one who has the time or will make a good parts car. Located in Montgomery county Pennsylvania

I wish you were closer to Austin! Looks like a good car. I suspect some members here can direct you to where on the car to take pics of what are typical rust spots. That will be the primary indicator of the car's value. From there you can set a price and post in the For Sale section of this site, which requires a price posted. Good luck with your sale!

Has to be worth at least $500 for the shell, unless the floors & subframe are gone from years sitting outside on open ground. Exterior certainly looks decent from the pics. Shame they shoved the DS seat in like that - it's probably damaged the PS sitting on the cushion like that. It's also a shame he started taking it apart, as that makes things much worse in terms of recovery.

The first pic does show daylight in the DS footwell so likely the seat was removed to pull the carpet back to inspect the DS floor.

Not sure, but the front fender looks painted. Shame it has sat for so long outside.

You should decide what you want for the car and post the price. An asking price is required in the FS&W for all items. Please add the price so I dont have to delete your post. Thanks

Hi Jim, I PM'd the OP last night and gave him my phone #, he responded saying he was going to call me today. His post says he's in Montgomery County, PA which adjoins Phila, so I figured I could get location info and maybe help him make contact with interested Xwebbers, and possibly help him to post more pix. Timing-wise, I'm going to be out of town for the holiday so it might be next week until we can get this sorted. In the meantime I will suggest to the OP that he edit his post to add the following:

"Forum rules require a price, so in order to meet the requirement before a realistic assessment can be done, I will set a "price" of $8999.99 or best offer, with the understanding that said price may increase or decrease at a later date."

Cool Dan, thanks.

Yes theirs rust on the floor pans rust on the rockers. I will get photos this weekend when I go back to work on my house currently not living their yet so I'm only around the car on the weekends.

I haven't had time to get more photos yet will take some this weekend. Listed for $1200 OBO I have a notarized letter from the lawyer and executor of the estate. So as of right now I'm selling it as a parts car. Title can be obtained just don't have the time with trying to get the house done and ready to move in. Any questions please feel free to reach out thanks.
