It runs fine all the way to 8,000 rpm when driven. It is just when I am idling a light or just crusing along with my foot barley on the throttle. It has done this about three times and always seems to clear up as mysteriously as it appeared. The problem only occurs after the car has set overnight, never just starts doing it while I am driving.
Could the fuel be clogging? Maybe the plugs are getting glazed over? Any ideas?

Your problem sound more severe.
Are you using a good fuel filter?
You could try some alcohol in the tank to get rid of any water you might have in the fuel. Water will clog jets!
Fouled plugs will make the car run on 3 cylinders at all times until it clears up, unless you are always way rich and the plugs never clear up.
