Headlamp conversion? Prototipo style?

I've always liked the "Stradale" look. But I especially like the custom art work on yours...your assistant is very talented and should be allowed to design the entire finish. [So cute]

Holden Gemini, I had to Google it to see what it is. Looks to be a Opel product -

Your pics give me an idea for another thread discussing the design of the front fascia: https://xwebforums.com/forum/index.php?threads/front-air-dam-spoilers.33143/

Edit: I referenced one of your photos in the linked thread. Please let me know if you want me to remove it. But it helped to illustrate a design idea. Thanks.

All good with the posting I'm happy that it can be used
The stradale light pods and front flares where created in mostly foam and body filler and mated to the early spoiler then I painted and took moulds

Impressive, I thought they were a production item due the their good appearance. Then I looked at the related parts on a production kit to build a Stradale and realized yours are quite different. I like what you did.

As far as I was aware there is no kit available to build a stradale Midwest have the rear flares but not the front flares or light pod set up
Apparently they where damaged way back when faza owned the stradale built by fiat

Unless we are talking about different versions of it (i.e. Prototypo vs Stradale), I've seen a couple sources for it. However I don't know if all of them are currently available.

This place in Germany still lists it:

As you mentioned MidwestBayless having the rears, but they list the fronts as well:

Fibercar in Italy still shows it:

There is also a place in the UK with a kit but I don't recall the name.

You are thinking of the protipo which was built by Abarth for the world rally championship
The stradale was the car that fiat needed to build to homolgate the cars only 1 was built before fiat canned the x19 rally idea
The car was sold to Al consentino after fiat finished with the project apparently Al ran it at few events before it was placed in storage
Michael miller who bought all the faza inventory has the car and it is being restored
The flares on the stradale are much smaller than the protipo rally cars
You can see it on the cover of the faza bible green seats(black bonnet)
Not too many people understand the history of the stradale and protipo thinking they where the same car

Very Cool :)

Do you have a thread for this anywhere? I'd love to see more pics of your process!

EDIT: looking again at your version, there are details that make a big difference. One is the small upturn at the inner front top edge where it joins the nose. That alone helps unify. The problem with many of these is that they look like a bunch of disparate parts slapped together - like the yellow stock pic with grey panels. That may have been to highlight the kit, it still looks shabby, IMO. Even if we are altering the lines of the X1/9 keeping overall flow of the replacing elements with the stock sheet metal is important.
