Used to have a 1974 X 1/9 back in the early 80's when I was working at a Fiat dealership in Harrisburg, PA. I was (still am) a ASE certified Master Technician. I used that X as a daily driver and autocrossed it. After an attempt at Pro-Rally, it ended up rolled over multiple times down the side of a mountain, then parted out in place. A year ago, I picked up a 1980 X 1/9 with less than 40k miles off of CraigsList for free. Got it running and driveable, tehn dismantled it, did any needed body work and repainted it. Recently, pulled the engine and trans to freshen up both to get it ready for a road trip to FFO 2010.
