SOLD. Cromodora CD30 rims

myredracer

True Classic
Now sold.

Asking $100 USD for all 4 plus shipping cost.

Set of 4 CD30 magnesium rims, 5-1/2" x 13", 4x98 mm. One is in good condition and could be used as is but you may want to refinish it. The other 3 rims have some corrosion, typical on magnesium rims- balancing weights likely caused what is in the photos. Photos show the worst of corrosion on each of the three. These would need a bit of welding by a specialist welder who knows how to work with magnesium and then machined. I had a Cromodora wheel years ago with a chunk missing from the edge and I got a helicopter welder to repair it. There are of course wheel restoration shops that can do this and refinish them to like-new condition. I was originally going to use these on one of my two restoration projects but have another set of wheels I'd rather use on them instead.

I think these can be shipped by USPS because they're just over 10 lbs each. Not sure if they need to go in individual boxes or can do 2 per box. Our local shipping depot ships to the US via USPS.

The last time I shipped wheels from here, the purchasers (on this forum) got stiffed by UPS for large brokerage fees. I can however, ship these from Blaine WA some time over the next few weeks and avoid the issue altogether.

If you're only interested in the one good one, and just one 1 or 2 of the others, that's okay too.
