Hi all. So, despite the list of things to do to my X1/9 being quite long, one has taken precedence over the last couple of months. I must admit, most of my motivation comes from not wanting to do a head gasket replacement due to an overheat. My old and Italian cooling system is barely holding...

I've been working on the cooling system of my X lately. I replaced the radiator with a MWB aluminum, water pump with a GMB stamped impeller and a new thermostat. Brought it up to temp at idle and all is working perfectly. Temp stabilizes just under 190F and the fan kicks on one tick above...

So as I'm sure a lot of you already know, I run a YouTube and Facebook channel under the name RevTek. I've combined my love for video production and car projects to start showing the progress on my own Fiat x1/9 Build, which has expanded into other enthusiast's car builds including a Fiat 131...

Due to rusty neck, new expansion tank had to be sourced. The ones I sound were priced like they are golden, both tanks and sellers. Also I wanted tank which is not on a way if working on the slave clutch cylinder, available, cheap, reliable and good looking. The latter ruled out a VW sphere. So...

Finally I took pics of my backwards tilted radiator, in my opinion this change should be done first before any other mods on X1/9s. I have given explanation for the reasoning in previous posts.

Does anyone know where I can purchase thermostat housing gaskets, for a tipo head and a x19 thermostat housing.(1 of each) I am trying to make an adapter. I'm in Australia if that helps.
