I have broken baffles in my 1500 exhaust but a spare 1300 one. Is the only differnce the additional bracket on the 1300 one?
Is the Ansa rear box avaialable today? if so who sells it in UK or Europe?

Other differences

I believe there are other differences between 1300 and 1500 exhausts - something to do with the block being taller on the 1500's and therefore having a few mm (not sure on the figure) offset to the manifold connection.

But that's from memory, so don't quote me !

I'm sure there are differences... and...

... the Lido's are probably CHROMED...

HAHAHA!

Naw...

But I'm sorry I don't know WHAT the differences are or where there are resources in the UK. I think the UK X1/9 site(s) should be able o help or some of the other EURO sites...

Sorry I can't help... but I just couldn't leave that CHROME comment alone! HA!

The 1500 block is taller

I did a conversion to a euro exhaust using one from a 1300.

It came up a little short.

Hi
thanks for that and have confirmed the 1500 is a taller block and pipes a different length!
Now i need to try and find someone over here who will make a stainless one for me as the standards seem to last a couple of years if that!

The head pipes are different lengths between the two to compensate for the difference in block height.
