I have a dead spot/worn teeth on my 1300 ring gear, can it be flipped to the other side for some clean gear teeth?

Yes you can!

I removed the ring gear with a 5# hammer and brass drift 50-50 mix of acetone and type F tranny juice was used to loosen it up. I beveled the inside edge a little and heated it up in the oven. It went right on.

Amazing

I never thought you could just drive the ring gear off without destroying it.
I am thinking of using a 5-speed ring gear on my lightened 4-speed flywheel when I convert to a 5-speed transmission, so this info is valuable to me.
Any other tips on doing this? Thanks.

I recently removed the ring gear from an Alfa flywheel by putting the FW on a (metal) lazy susan and heating the ring gear with a torch while spinning it. Came off pretty easy with a brass drift and hammer.

To reinstall, heat the ring in the oven, and freeze the FW, and it drops on.

Edit: However, as a point of reference, the Alfa ring was definitely not reversible, due to tooth pattern

Just go slow when removing I used wood as a bed when pounding off the gear. That 50-50 acetone type F mix works great as a penetrant. They don't emulsify well so you shake and apply immediately.
