Hey guys after years of problems with my dads 1500 4spd engine from overheating to not wanting to rev i decided to swap my motor into his car which is a 1500 5spd with efi conversion. The motor hadn't run in 4months and in my dads car which also was converted to efi it runs but with problems.
The engine as is loves full throttle it revs smooth and power is excellent however if you try to maintain any speed it carrys on a treat. Also if you take off using a quarter throttle and just take off slowly the engine shakes and carrys on again. Has anyone ever experienced this before and know any solutions.
I am thinking possibly a dead tps switch but i don't have another one to confirm this.
