1979 fiat x19 odometer: 29000 manual transmission
a reluctant sale:
A 79 fiat x19 four cylinder mid engine sports car.
5 speed stick shift with a/c requires charging,
we purchased this car on ebay for 4k plus 650 to shipping it from virginia.
Add fees for title etc we are close to 5k on this..
Here is why we are selling:
It was for my lady she is too tall and does not fit in the car - seriously!!
It has had 10k in parts spent on it from previous owner (I have the spread sheet from the seller)
k sport coil-overs $1500.
upgraded led dash $450
black bucket seats $350
wheels tires rotors $1750
new carb $500
euro bumper conversion $450 and the list goes on...
But it is a project car it does run and drive, stops and handles well all the head lights work pop up dash etc, but was built in 1979 and the gearbox is slow (typical of the marque) no fast shifting in 1st 2nd 3rd not too much body rot a bit in the driver side door skin (easy repair) and at some point could do with painting it is bright yellow. and so many new parts and well sorted stays cool and old parts to sell.
I do not want it as it is too small for my taste..
I want an old diesel mercedes 300 or 240 will consider trades
And to the low ballers out there GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
we are not in a rush to sell it, but a fair price in cash, no checks, or bs will get it with a clear fl title and loads of spares. mileage is estimate because since the dash upgrade it has 29.000 miles 180 miles ago, previous seller said it had 80k on it and from what I see I have no reason to disbelieve that. and unlike other lying sXXts on here I will tell you the truth not lies
smokes a bit on start up but a quiet motor with no rattles. running on shell rotella 15w/40

1978 FIAT X19 CONVERTIBLE - $950 (Hosmer St)
2015 fiat bertone manual transmission
1978 fiat x19 4 speed mid engine with removable targa top. this is a easy project that I no longer have time for. the body was repainted a few years ago and still will look very good with a good wash and polish. the engine runs perfect but does need a water pump. most hoses and vacume lines have been replaced with stainless steel beaded lines. it needs part of the drivers seat re covered. and the front floor pans are cut out for replacement. it has a brand new factory stainless steel muffler. overall the car needs finished but is a great project car the body is fairly solid and extremely solid where it counts. the price is $950 or best offer that pretty much covers what I paid for the hoses and muffler. sorry this is the beat pic I can get from the small space I've got it in. it also has Nos tail light lenses and the bumpers are secure. any questions call robert * 815 621 6774.. thanks for looking....
