28k Mi. Time Capsule Scorpion

Agnelli

True Classic
Dead since 1993. 82 year old original owner to be appreciated, when asked about the the old intake configuration he says, 'not much, just blown with nitrous'. 2 liter N/A will go back in, but it's going to be a challenge to figure it all out. The interior is like new, as is the steering. Original manuals in the glovebox.

Nitrous or Turbo?????

I think I know this car and if so it would be a turbo with a carb. Was the guy a chemist with expertise in non-newtonian fluids? He had an unusual name that escapes me at the moment.

Lloyd is the first name of the owner, likely an engineer based on the glovebox notes, and you may be correct on the specific field. It was turbo/carb w/ NO2, likely the culprit for the early demise.

That is a sweet looking Scorpion. There is a red one in San Carlos/Belmont area near me with a Volumex...Owner toys with selling it from time to time - I haven't caught him being serious about it though. Not yet... ;)
