850 spider - re-cover dash

Low Mileage
My dash board has seen better days and I want to re-cover it.
Removing the instrument panel seems a fairly easy job but what about the rest of the dash?
Can anyone advise where to start or am I better trying to do it in situ?

Hi Paul

Way back in the day,1977 ish, I had my sons 850 racer completely redone with a new interior. The dash was removed from the car, I did it, and the upholstery shop covered it with new vinyl
glued in place. It came out just like new and as original.

Go for it.
