INSIDE PEEK.

This is what the heater run looks like inside the tunnel. Notice the spot welded tabs. This run holds tight to the tunnel, passenger side, allowing the control cables and push/pull rods free reign.

The top shown assembly is the original 16mm steel tubing.
The bottom shown assembly is 5/8 (15.87mm) 301 stainless steel tubing. Close enough that 5/8 flexible rubber connection tubing does not realize a difference between the two. Flow rates should be identical.

The tailpiece on the new assembly has unions to allow for junction of J-shaped short stubs that exit the tub and appear on the chassis underside.

5/8 301 stainless tubing CAN be bent with a standard two handled tubing bender. It takes effort, but is doable. I was unsure of that point before making up this assembly.

Separator-mounting tabs are fabbed of soft aluminum sheet; two piece clamshell arrangement. They are adhered to the tubing using polyurethane adhesive.

Freehand........The fit was PERFECT :)
