These have a dished crown (5cc with valve flycuts) which may make them suitable for turbocharging your 1300 or 1500 engine.

Hey Rob!
I hope you are doing well, and that you receive that grill one of these days.
Those pistons you have for sale, I am interested in. However I am not planning to do a turbo build any time soon. Will they still be suitable for a 1500 carb'd engine build?
My knowledge on different forms of pistons is quite limited, but I am in need of a set to complete my engine build.

Only if you want low compression

Hey Josh,

These will "work" for a 1500 rebuild, but they will lower the compression to a point that you may not like. So as much as I need to sell them, I wouldn't advise you to buy these pistons.

They really would be more suited to a turbocharged or supercharged (how many times have I thought about doing that?!?!?) application.
