Anyone have an IAP "autocross" cam?

Hi folks,

I was told that one I pulled from an engine a while back was an "IAP autocross" cam but wasn't told the duration/lift.

Anyone familar with such a cam? Are there any markings or stamps I should look for?

UDPATE: FYI -
I called IAP and they could not provide me with markings or stamps but provided the spec on the cam:
Valve Timing:42-82/82-42
Lobe Centers:110/110
Valve clearance (in and ex):.016/.016
duration:304
Duration at .50 Clearance:256
overlap:84
lift:10.8
So very close to their spec for the autocross cam for the DOHC cars.
Thanks,
Tim

Here is a plot of that cam. Your info is correct with the exception of the lift. At least on this plot it was 10.7 not 10.8

Hope this helps

Hey Tim, I'm looking for one of those cams to put in the engine with the PBS crank. Just in case you ever think about selling it.

Mike,

I actually passed on another 42/82 CAM due to lack of $$ so this one *might* be a keeper for me. I need to inspect it a little bit and make sure it is what it is. I recall some ever so slight wear on 2 lobes at the corners but I need to look again.

Kinda radical for autocross?

Haven't tried a cam that radical,
but have run 40-80 & 35-75 Fazas and EuroCam,
which is somewhat more mild than 35-75.
Different hi-pro induction with each,
so comparison is somewhat askew.
Tho' other engine factors were similar.

EuroCam is my favorite for autocross and getting out of corners strongly.
40-80 is favorite for road course running at sustained high rpm.

Was intending to install NOS 42-82 Alquati cam in new trackday weapon,
but my BV head was milled on top
to compensate for small base circle regrind cam.
Owner (not me) of the cam would sell it for $300.
Lemmeno if interested.

Thanks Mike. I'll see if I can find some spare $. If so I'll PM ya.

Cheers,
