beer tap shift knob replacement

While the beer tab style knob is as "unique" as the car and thus belongs, I don't like using it much, it's awkward. Does it just screw off or is there more to it than that?

I thought it was a Yank-off. If that doesn't work, you can use the Wack-off removal method.
