I found the Bosch Fuel Injection Manual (or something like that) and made copies of both the Pulsed Injection System (like L-jetronic) Troubleshooting section and the Tuning for Performance and Economy section. This should provide me with the help I need.
What's going on, if you're interested, is a slight miss in the Budget Zagato and just a hair too many HC's at idle. I think it's something like cloggy injectors or a weak pump. I cannot find any vacuum leaks, tried water, solvents, propane. I'll test the O2 sensor, which is new as well.
