Vintage Fiat BWA SportStar wheels - $450

Retro 4-spoke, period correct 70s style,
highly sought-after ITALIAN MADE.
6"x13", 98mm bolt circle, 4" backspace.
1" wider stance per corner than factory 5" wheels.

Huge hours into polished rims & black/silver spokes.
Painted with catalyzed acrylic enamel, not rattle can.
Uses taper seat lugs, far superior to shoulder lugs of most US wheels.
Have run these at PIR trackdays...triple digit speeds, sticky tires, and no problems.
(Note: wheels on X1/9 are same size/style, but not the actual wheels for sale)

You know any Mail Boxes etc will box these and ship anywhere for you...

If you will bring them down I might be interested. Just bring them to the UPS store aka mail boxes etc and ask them how much to pack and ship to 92782...

Thanks..:)

Not too mobile these days...

...broken foot and on crutches for last several weeks.
Not healing right, so uncertain when I can tote 'em anywhere.

But I can do the "JJ stack & wrap" with cardboard & tape,
if perhaps your UPS store could issue a call tag to 97015?
Size approx 14"x14"x30"? Weight most likely under 60lbs?

Feel free to email me olerascal at hotmail dot com
if you'd like more info and/or more pictures.

Includes black FIAT caps for factory steel wheels,
and butyl rubber to affix them with.
Tabs on caps are for smaller diameter hole
than the BWA center hole. Butyl holds'em just fine.

I've been meaning to get back to you on your trade idea. Very interested in these.

More in the store...

...have a couple other sets for consideration.
All same size/style, with different finishes.

Second set has been lightly buffed to bring out the metal color,
but not remove the OE machined/satin surface.
Since this set came from Arizona, they didn't need reduction of
surface deterioration typical of wheels from wetness of northwest USA.
So, these presented a rare opportunity to preserve a period-correct
machined/satin finish from their heyday in the '70/80s.
Also priced at $450/set.

Third set has fully polished spokes & rims polished to higher level,
which takes an insane amount of work & expense.
JJ can certainly relate to that!
All other surfaces (ie. bead & backside) painted black acrylic enamel.
They're pictured on BlackX, and I dare say,
are as fine a SportStars as you'll ever see.
Fully polished surface is easiest to maintain.
It just shucks off road scuz & brake dust.
I like 'em best of all the wheels I ran on BlackX.

Perhaps Brett can check 'em all out next week,
then work out with JJ who prefers what finish.
I'll post pictures next week of other sets.

Reason for multiple sets (beside being a wheel junkie)
is I was using them for short track race slicks,
and also for long track DOT tires. Plus spare set for each purpose.
Nothing worse than going to track event and running out of tires!
Later, switched to 8" BWAs for slicks, and 7" Compomotives
for DOT track tires...so the 6" BWAs have been
waiting for me to get off my duff and advertise 'em.

Hi Mike, if any 13x8's lmk i need two of them....thanks

Hey Kelvin, thx for data point!

Looks like yours are mirror polished,
so they're certainly worth more than my paint/polish treatment on this set.
But I purposely priced mine low at $300 LESS (!),
figuring that shipment limitations limits my scope of market.
(Tho' if buyer can issue a "call tag", geography isn't a issue.)

Aiming to post pics of a 2nd set I have available real soon.
Their machined/satin finish looks even more spectacular than I remembered!
Guess I shoulda looked at 'em before I posted above the same price of $450 for either set.
