Craigslist 1987 X1/9 Bay Area

I saw that on BaT last year too.

One of the nicest used X's I've seen, but the engine and suspension wouldn't remain stock for very long under my ownership. And the rear wing (and probably the bumpers) would have to go. This car might be better for someone who, after spending over $10K, would want to keep it as a mint original.
 
It's a nice one for sure

But it's a little pricey unless it's perfect (or better).
Even if it is, I expect there's a very limited field of buyer's who appreciate the value and are willing to pay for it.

Having said that, would be nice to see him do well :)
