Oil is seeping from the bottom of the dipstick tube. Before I attempt to remove the tube I want to make sure it is threaded into the block. Advice?

If the engine breather is plugged, blowbye can pressurize the case and and force oil up the dipstick. It does not look like this is the case on your dipstick, and it takes a fair amount of blowbye. It might be worth checking the cyclonic filter though. To answer your question, yes it is threaded.Mine was hard to remove and motor was on the engine stand.Have you replaced the dip stick seal?
Will double check. Merci Yves.Alain,
I never seen or heard about of " seeping from bottom dipstick tube". Maybe make a double check if the leak is from the bottom stick.
No, not replaced. Will double check to confirm source of leak. ThxTo answer your question, yes it is threaded.Mine was hard to remove and motor was on the engine stand.Have you replaced the dip stick seal?
