I also have a 100 UNO - which performes better! - and I am running out of ideas to try out. I have looked into the following matters:
* Ignition timing and visually inspection of sparks.
* cam timing and valve shimming.
* fuel feed and acceleration pump adjustment.
* air filter is changed.
* I have even checked that the crank-ventilation is not blocked
* I have fine compression on all four cylinders
I really dont know what to look at next - can anyone help me?

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Tahoma, Arial]<!-- google_ad_section_start -->I hate to say this, but the Uno 100 has a 25bhp advantage and a quite a weight saving as well (not to mention serious gains in the aerodynamics).
I think the X1/9 would probably be quicker through the corners, but the Uno has the advantage of 20 years of automotive engineering on it's side from the same company that engineered the X.
On the downside the Uno engine doesn't rev as high (it uses a 1500 block basically), so you could tweek the X engine up to beat the Uno - at a price.
I've just (well almost) come into possession of a 130bhp 1300 engine, but the original value was about £5000 (roughly USD 7000) - it can be done for much less and I'm sure there are plenty of people here who will be all to happy to tell about what you would need.

Thinking about it though I should have guessed as I don't recall there being an Uno 100 (that would have been roughly the power of the 1300 turbo - I shall have my brain fully serviced at the next opportunity because it is obviously not running on all 4)
Is it a 60S or just a 60?
Don't forget that the Uno has a top speed (normally) of about 90mph, the larger engined versions might have managed 100mph (with the exception of the turbo models), or more with a 5-speed box (hence the question if it is an S model)
The gearing is actually quite short, making the cars even quicker at low speeds.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

The 1300 X had relatively tall gearing to get an "exciting" top speed out of it. The 1500 wasn't much different even with the extra set of cogs, losing out with the lower rev-limit - but with extra torque to make the lower revs more interesting. Throw in the weight difference too (lets face it, the Uno is little more than a relatively aerodynamic tin-can on wheels (I seem to remember that it was actually rated as the most aerodynamic hatch/compact for a good many years). The little 45 fire unit was so small and light I thought I had lost the engine the first time I opened the bonnet on one!<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

You do not mention the number of miles/kilometers on the respective motors. This could have a large effect on their performance. Also the noted weight difference between the cars and gearing can affect the relative performance feel of the cars.
Have you timed them for acceleration over the same distance?
At least the top comes off of the X. That is more than the Uno can say.

I think the X1/9 would probably be quicker through the corners, but the Uno has the advantage of 20 years of automotive engineering on it's side from the same company that engineered the X.
On the downside the Uno engine doesn't rev as high (it uses a 1500 block basically), so you could tweek the X engine up to beat the Uno - at a price.
I've just (well almost) come into possession of a 130bhp 1300 engine, but the original value was about £5000 (roughly USD 7000) - it can be done for much less and I'm sure there are plenty of people here who will be all to happy to tell about what you would need.

Is it a 60S or just a 60?
Don't forget that the Uno has a top speed (normally) of about 90mph, the larger engined versions might have managed 100mph (with the exception of the turbo models), or more with a 5-speed box (hence the question if it is an S model)

The 1300 X had relatively tall gearing to get an "exciting" top speed out of it. The 1500 wasn't much different even with the extra set of cogs, losing out with the lower rev-limit - but with extra torque to make the lower revs more interesting. Throw in the weight difference too (lets face it, the Uno is little more than a relatively aerodynamic tin-can on wheels (I seem to remember that it was actually rated as the most aerodynamic hatch/compact for a good many years). The little 45 fire unit was so small and light I thought I had lost the engine the first time I opened the bonnet on one!<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

You do not mention the number of miles/kilometers on the respective motors. This could have a large effect on their performance. Also the noted weight difference between the cars and gearing can affect the relative performance feel of the cars.
Have you timed them for acceleration over the same distance?
At least the top comes off of the X. That is more than the Uno can say.
