Everyone in PA/North East OK?

Just wanted to see if everyone in the North East on here has been okay with all of this flooding? I live in southern central PA and things have been bad. Lots of high water, approaching record levels, with some rivers and smaller water ways yet to crest. I couldn't make it to work yesterday with roads and highways flooding. Ended up spending the day working with my wife in the basement keeping the water level as low as possible... we were able to maintain it fairly well, but still was quite a pain. No signifgant damage or losses as far as I can tell so far. I'm fortunate considering all of the others in the area with far worse damage. Many in the area put out, some injured and a few dead. Very sad.

This is a link to a local news station with viewer submitted photos, there are side links within to more albums of the like.

Hope everyone is safe and are not/haven't experienced too much damage.

Now we're in for it too, Jim

Katia's heading for the UK west coast at 80mph. Because we are an island without coastal fortifications, we should see scenes like those you've just posted.

Hope things dry out soon.

Hang in there Jim

Sorry to hear about the flooding. Hopefully things will get better soon for your area.
