Ferrari 599XX at Nurburgring

Then, we have one of my favorites the Radical SR8LM.. It's basically a real race car chassis powered a PowerTec V8 based on using two Hayabusa cylinder heads. On R compound street tires, the Radical SR8 is TEN seconds faster than this Ferrari 599 on slicks.

The CG of the Radical SR8LM is close to 0.6, Or this chassis is aero centric. The SR8LM has a near 500 Bhp on tap, this car uses much of that power converted to down force increasing grip. The modern race car is aero-centric in their chassis design, this is why these cars can pull 3 to about 5G cornering force.

6.11, +200km/h average speed. Not the whole lap, unfortunately.

Here's Derek Bell in a Porsche 956 the same year, but an entire lap from inside the car.
