Ferrari Killer's Daddy

I may have to make a trip up to see this baby some weekend! I'm down in Magnolia and just bought a 83 X1/9... I've wanted one since I was like 15 living in Italy as a military brat in the late 70's...

I definitely want to do a Dallara kit on my car... and I'm thinking about a engine swap. My 1.5 has been torn apart for at least 5 years, the bores are all rusty... its in sad shape. I've got some daily drivers, I want to build something scary!!!!

I don't think it will be too long before we can get her all shiny in black and blue, though its still amazing in black. I'm looking forward to the next weekend we all get together to work on it again. :)

We anticipate having it at the 2010 Italian Car Show in Grapevine, TX in September. http://www.italiancarfest.org/

Hope they have beer and not just wine...

Bring some of this! You could stay with the Italian theme!
