One of my 79.

This is my lone X at the moment, a 79 with twin Webers, hot cam, header, higher compression pistons, etc., Carb's are getting rebuilt at the moment. I like the way this car sounds.

This is my lone X at the moment, a 79 with twin Webers, hot cam, header, higher compression pistons, etc., Carb's are getting rebuilt at the moment. I like the way this car sounds. It's about to undergo some major changes. The Pinin' Spider is my favorite Fiat and I drive it every day, but I'm wanting to get the X back into everyday driver position. I have had a Fiat as an everyday driver for around 9 years now and I like it.

PS: I am planning a small gathering before the FFO on Wed evening if anyone wants to meet up in Knoxville on the way to Asheville. We will attack the Dragon on Thursday morning and meet up with the other Fiat folks for lunch. After this, we will all follow back to Asheville for the FFO.
 
Camera set up?

What kind of camera setup are you using in this video? Looks and sounds great! Love to have one of my trip over the Tail of the Dragon this year at the FFO!
 
camera...

Had a basic Sony digital hand-held (early 2000 model). Ran a mic down into the engine bay so I wouldn't get so much wind noise. I also had a wide-angle lens.
