For sale is a extremely rare 1966 FIAT 1500 COUPE GHIA GT....The Fiat 1500 GT was bodied by Ghia and produced from 1962 through 1967. The car had a monocoque chassis and came originally with a four cylinder Fiat engine that produced nearly 85 horse power. This 1966 Fiat 1500 Coupe Ghia GT is equipped with a 289 V8 along with a C4 3spd. Automatic Transmission and a Ford 8" Rearend. 1968 Fiat 850 Berlina New Abarth Paint job, interior, runs great, New complete brake system, new fuel pump, new water pump, new seat uphoulstry, carpet, headliner, 77K original miles. Not registered since 1984. Super running little car and of the rare Berlina sedan body style. NOS parts include: Bumpers, grill, marker lights, Hella driving lights (not hooked up yet), new parts include, installed: Abarth front lowering beam, drops car 1.5" in front, 30 DIC weber and manifold, NOS ANSA exhaust, stock set of 12" wheels and tires and hubcaps, plus spare wheels and caps, manual and more. I called the Ghia 1500 GT owner, as I have parts to restore them. Or in this case, to help in finishing the car.
He wasn't interested in talking about the car. It's probably one of those "honey, you need to get rid of that POS" situations.

Too bad, as a rust free car is close to impossible to find.

I found an X on CL near Denver before we found the barn find. The owner of that X also didn't want to talk about the car. Then wouldn't return phone calls or reply to emails. The listing came and went off CL for months with various prices. Finally decided the same as you Chris, the missus had said "Thou shalt get rid of it!".
