filler end removal

Trying to reinstall gas tank. I want to pull the filler assembly off, put the tank in, then reassemble filler. I can't seem to get it off, two top screws along the inboard edge, a nut under the inboard edge that supports the filler neck, but something is still holding it on. There are some horizontal plastic nubs sticking in from the side but I've cleared those. What am I missing?

You have to rotate the assembly so that the stud you took the nut off clears the hole. It is one of the more frustrating proceedures. Wait untill you want to reinstall it:mallet:

Okay got it out, tank in, back in. That was only a minor blip in the frustrations last night (and this morning....early this morning).
