I hate to ask...

but why are we thanking your son? Did he erase the car that previously had "BERTONE" attached to it. Please say "NO", and tell me he simply wanted another vanity plate.
 
Nothing so dire...

My son still has his X, although it has not seen the road in years (long story). He was serching the MD MVA for a vanity plate for his Boxter and, on a lark, typed in BERTONE and it came up available. I would claim it but I have historic tags where the vanity option is not available.
