Getting fuse box back in the fuse box tray

I am trying to put the fuse box (late style - blade fuses) back in the car. All the connectors are plugged in, but no matter how I drape the cables I can't get the fuse box to fit in the tray. The rats nest of cables is about an inch too thick for me to get the fuse box in. The fuse box is engaged in the front, there is another inch to go before the tabs on the fuse box rest on the bosses in the back of the tray. Is there a trick to this?

Yep...

The wires should leave in separate bundles.
Take a look at this photo and try to separate them accordingly.
Another hint: 1 bundle exits at the top right to the right of the screw. They don't all exit between the top screws.
