I have decided to retro fit my 81 X with 74 bumpers. I have the bumpers now and I plan to start soon. I am going to do it right and weld all of the old holes up and do a respray.
Any advice to consider? I still need the turn signals and a center spoiler for the front. Can you get the plastic ones that they had in Europe anymore?
I figure that the weight savings alone will add about 5-10 hp
