Folding Tops
I live in Amish country and there is lots of good small sized labor here to manufacture tops. Since this is more likely a made to order type thing and not a production run, I may be able to find the people to do it.

I'd probably pay at the most about 400 for the front spoiler and maybe 800-900 for the entire kit, unless its made from brittle fiberglass then I wouldn't be interested. We have a hard enough time keeping grills in our cars from hitting cones at the autocross.
The guy down in Australia has said that he'd sell a top to a club up here to use for reproduction. I think we'll have to take him up on his offer, guys?

The company I have to make these builds high quality bath surrounds and tubs. They also manufacturer the huge front and back pieces to travel homes. Eack one is bigger than the X. They are made to be durable and last. Unlike the ones I have on my X1/9s. Price is going to be around 800-950. Individual parts can be purchased. I'm not sure If I can get the Carrellos that came with mine but I checked and Bosch lamps will work. The kit was sold by Bertone at a price of around $1200. Trunk spoiler was still a $150 add on. I say that is rather high, especially for the low quality. I'll see how soon I can get these into production. Of course it depends on price. If you are going to really do it some pre collecting money time for me would be very nice. What kind of material are you going to use ? How are the parts attached to the body ?
Shipping will also be an issue for me since I am living in Europe/Germany.

I'd probably pay at the most about 400 for the front spoiler and maybe 800-900 for the entire kit, unless its made from brittle fiberglass then I wouldn't be interested. We have a hard enough time keeping grills in our cars from hitting cones at the autocross.
The guy down in Australia has said that he'd sell a top to a club up here to use for reproduction. I think we'll have to take him up on his offer, guys?

The company I have to make these builds high quality bath surrounds and tubs. They also manufacturer the huge front and back pieces to travel homes. Eack one is bigger than the X. They are made to be durable and last. Unlike the ones I have on my X1/9s. Price is going to be around 800-950. Individual parts can be purchased. I'm not sure If I can get the Carrellos that came with mine but I checked and Bosch lamps will work. The kit was sold by Bertone at a price of around $1200. Trunk spoiler was still a $150 add on. I say that is rather high, especially for the low quality. I'll see how soon I can get these into production. Right now they are full speed at both plants and can't do anything on the side till later this year. Start saving up.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
