1. The auxiliary air regulator in my car was loose and hanging from the hoses when it is supposed to be bolted to the engine block with two allen head bolts. When the engine was removed I could not find the tapped holes. I suppose they should be somewhere above the starter motor, but can’t find them. Any advise ?
2. I will not reinstall the air conditioner, so the electric air by-pass valve will not be used. I plan to plug the nozzles on the intake air hoses, where the small hoses to the by-pass valve used to be attached. Is this OK ?.
3. The fuel tank breathing system will not be installed either (this is not illegall where I live). I will delete the activated carbon canister, the separators, valves, hoses etc. This will leave two nozzles open on the fuel tank and one on the air intake plenum.
I plan to replace the nozzle on the plenum with a threaded plug, plug one of the fuel tank nozzles, attach a hose to the other and send the other end of the hose to a safe place, like the small well symmetrical to where the ignition modulus is. Does it sound good ?.

2: Plugging the nozzles should work fine, but I haven't tried it myself.
3: You won't need to run a line from the tank to a "safe location". Plug the lines from the charcoal cannister where they connect to the tank. Be sure to leave the two vents in place or you will pull a vacuum on the fuel tank as you drive the car.
