horn problem

Hi does anyone have photos or a diagram of the cover over the stearing bush that houses the horn button for a 79 x?
i took the centre bit off to straighten the stearing wheel and things fell out, i havent got them back correctly as horn now very intermittent, thanks

I would suspect you may have bent someting putting it back together... be especially careful of the CANCELATION lever for the turn signals.

But if horn is just intermittent, and you are SURE the problem is because you removed the steering wheel... I would look at cleaning up all the contacts and springs on the horn button itself and also on the UNDERSIDE of the steering wheel.
