I Would Love to Know....

Dan Sarandrea (Phila)

Waitin' On Parts...
....how many X1/9s are still currently registered in the USA.

I sent a couple of emails to a sales person at R. L. Polk trying to weasle that info from him for free, but was unsuccessful. He said their minimum data order is $500....yeow.

Maybe a ZBB search in carfax?
I dont know if a commercial carfax account could do a fuzzy search that would give us a clue.
I am wondering the same for Canada

One dubious data point

When I was down at the DMV getting green '74 titled and registered, going through the standard "FIAT - that's spelled eff-eye-ay-tee - yes, that's the manufacturer's name - no, of course you haven't heard of it - no, not spider, an X1/9 - that's ecks-one-slash-nine" drill...

The woman behind the counter poked around her computer for a while, then said "Wow - I think there are only seven of them registered in North Carolina".
