True Classic
Thought I'd post pics of my new inline fuel pressure gauge I added this morning. Each leg of the hose is 5 inches.

Neat... but...

Kinda hard to see while driving, ain't it?

Also... the RED hose color CLASHES with the rest of your color scheme...

HA!

So... what does it read when the engine is idling, or when reved? Any difference?

starts at 28 then drops to 16!

Well, I posted a thread in the workshop section after I installed it, as it starts at 28, then after it warms up it drops to 16! Then it doesn't run so well!

Yes, my local NAPA dealer only carries red. I mentioned the color scheme, but at least I can tell which ones I've replaced.

Also had to add teflon tape after the install as it was weeping.

pic at idle with 4 inch legs

When it started weeping I didn't like the legs at 4 inches because the gauge ended up on top of the clamp on the hose below it, so I added an inch to each side, which really made a difference.

So I had to go back and check the pic to see that it really did start out good. Went bad after that. See the workshop thread for more details.

In other words help!

sounds like you've got a weak/failing fuel pump...If my memory is right it should be about 40-45 psi...
