That seems like a good deal. I don't get the "time capsule" tag. What is there about a very heavily modified car that makes it a "time capsule"……nothing!! I'd prefer this over a bone stock '80 anyway!
The Tilton assembly is most like a tiny 5" disc, and it's multi plate (dual) clutch. My friend's X1/9 race car has one, with very tiny sintered clutch plates. The attached photo isn't the best example, as the tilton unit is much nicer.
I sent him an email just as a "hello". My race car had a very similar setup, BV head with 45DCOEs and I've raced at Shannonville for years. I was curious what kind of lap times his car did (I don't recall his answer to that). If it's that clean, might be worth turning into a full out race car.
