It Finally Arrived!

My X1/9 showed up Monday night. I couldn't have been more excited. Just ironing out some little details (oil change, fresh gas, changing light bulbs etc.) before I drive any distance with it.

I've got a few goodies waiting for it among some missing trim. Ordered air horns, dash mat, steering wheel, pedals etc. this morning and awaiting the arrival of my new wheels.

Looks like another nice X 1/9 for Canada. Maybe I'll meet up with u at a VW Army meet some Monday night.

I put 500 km on wifey's X in the past week...running sweetly.

Yeah, I used to frequent those meets all the time. Now I just have NO time, but I think i'm gonna make it out one week soon. I miss partying and laughing at the Boston Pizza but I haven't had a modded Dub in some time. Although I do remember bringing my red X1/9 to a few meets...
