Thanks for swinging down and helping out Papa Tony... Sorry my tools and organizational skills are both lacking. At any rate the car runs again!!!

All your gunna get for now is 3500 rpm as the baby is sleeping and anything more will get me in trouble with the cops and the misses.

Congratts. Sorry I could not make it out.. It was a crazy day for me...lookin good..Want to race?

I have to thank Papa Tony again for all the help. I know that 1.5 hour trip is a PITA. He showed up at 8am... An hour early, and you know what, we had the car running an hour ahead of schedule... I had an extra hour to wash up and go out on Date Night with the Misses.

I think one of the two biggest issues were making a stubby 13mm wrench for the dizzy... With no real hack saw, just hack saw blades. Also note that 76's don't have distributor access panels in the spare tire area.

The second big issue was my frayed throttle cable. I had wrote the cable off and had just planned on replacing it on my own later on. However, Tony managed to do some wizardry with old frayed cable and worked it back through the various tiny holes it needed to thread through in order to work.

Other then that, keeping track of ignition/cam/crank timing was it's own little party. Tony, the man who claimed to have only done the timing belt once in 25 years, has now done it 3 times in one weekend... Or at least that's how many times we had the belt on and off to get it right...
