I found a source for some of the rare and coveted late model X 1500 short speedo cable.

I haven't installed my yet so no clue if it has any inherent problems but as most of you know the IAP long cable is the exact same length as the factory long cable; so you almost need the short cable to avoid any gymnastics and holding your tongue just right during the install.

No extras maybe one short

I used one on my 86 and the other 2 went to friends. Now my 87 short cable is being held together with epoxy. The plastic just breaks when I remove the gauges every time.

When I placed my order they had 9 left. Not sure if they can re-order or what.

If anyone is ordering could you ask if they are re-order-able? If not, I may want one for an extra?
