I would like to see photos of the positive battery terminal of somebody's car that has done the BWM and has a modern stereo setup. I am trying to decide the best way to connect all the extra wires that I need. Thank you guys in advance.

I had a local electrical shop fab up a main battery cable that had an extra wire coming from the positive battery clamp, the purpose of which would be to serve as the second/sister lead to the fuse box (my car has the late model ATC fuse panel) as advocated by the Emir of Electrons, the Ace of Amps, the Sultan of Circuits himself, Mr. Bob Brown.

Well, when I got it back from them I just was not happy with the workmanship.

So I kept their thicker main battery cable that runs to the starter, added a heavier (I think 8ga) wire to mimic/mirror the brown wire, re-used the main power wire that feeds the FI system, ordered an oversize battery clamp, and soldered it together. Boy was it a chore feeding the heavier main battery cable and the FI wire back thru the tunnel--good thing my entire interior is out.
