Beautiful!

Are these the 6" wide ones? Might be easier to fit than my 6.5" ones.

Still my favorite wheel for Italian cars.

Did you know that was my 88'?

Yes, it does go well in more ways than one. The gray/alloy Maser wheels on Gregory's X is another very nice color combo.

Now my time is spent on making a nice 74'.

Bernice

I have seen these on a yellow X in in the south bay. It is a nice clean look that goes well with the car IMHO

Doug, THE RATT, Lindeman had a set of these...

... on his '74 about 10 years ago...

Here's a foto just after Jeff Zucker bought the car from him...

(Twin carbs and custom exhaust with a big-valve head... I loved this car!)

That 88' has a new owner and it will become a track day car to be built from the bare chassis up with a different drive train.

What you will see is my 74' in it's place. which is currently a rolling project.

Bernice

Did not realize it was yours. I walk by there every so often. Have not seen you car lately though.

Hhhmm looks like we have a few

S.F. bay area people. Maybe we should have a get together one weekend.

Are these wheels hubcentric? It appears the offset is close to an X's.

offset mod.. how?

How did you modify the offset? I managed to fit mine (also 6.5x14) with a little rear fender rolling.

haven't got there yet

The fronts are tight at full lock with 195-60's
I think we will go with race rubber, 185-60's in front and 205-55's in the rear
Kumho victoracer V700 tires shaved to 4/32"
Mayuko has been driving her spider for a year with some old V700's we got from Dave Voss and she likes them.
I don't car if they wear out quickly or not.

Chris

Thanks Tony

I was invited to join that group a couple of years ago but decided at the time that the X looked like crap to show anyone. I may show up at that event now that the car looks half way decent.

Took wheels to local engineering company and got them to machine 5mm off rear face. Just short of the steel inserts.
I run car without the orginal fiat spacers.
Car also runs with Leda coil-over race shocks.
