Unfortunately, it wasn't in my x, but my (dare I say it...) Accord. Only because I've got brake work to do on the x, though. Should have it ready by the next one. I was fortunate enough to see Chris Obert out there running his 128 Rally. Since the Accord and 128 handle similarly, he took me through the walk through with him and showed me the lines. When it was finally time to get out there I was REALLY nervous, but after my first run (biggest casualty was hitting one cone) I felt incredibly confident. My runs all came in with succesively lower times. Ended up dropping five seconds from first to last run in about one second intervals. It really surprised me how much oversteer is possible in a front engine/front drive car. When I went into a turn to hot and the front began to push too much I just got off the gas and the front turned in nicely and the back swung around a bit which made for some nice setups for the next turn. Can't wait to make the next one in the exxie!! I suppose the driving style will be quite different, though!
