This is related to the next thread about fuel mileage. I've seen both a dip in mileage and almost failed my smog test after my head gasket mishap. Could it be, even after only minutes of actual engine run time (I knew instantly the gasket was blown) with the bad gasket, permanent damage occurred to either or both the O2 sensor and the cat? Opinions?
