Opinion - Maxxis tires

... so any number of us on the forum have experienced Sumitomos. Some swear by these tires. Some swear at them.

Since the demise of the Yokohama AVS product, there is a limited selection of 185/60*13 in the US of A.

I came across Maxxis that have a 185/60 ...

And Maxxis have a 205/60*13 ...

UTQG is 380\420\440 depending on which product. Seem to compare favorably with the Sumi's ...

Anyone had these\tried these\care to comment?

No experience with either.

They do have the specs and size that I want. I guess from there it would be mostly a choice of thread design / touring or all season type and cost.

their dealer locator doesnt seem to return any results no matter where I tried. Anyone seen these for sale?

There are a few more within 25 miles of me. There are no dealers in the St. Louis Metro area... kinda weird. You would think they would want to be in the larger metro centers.
