Not endorsing the car but in my area (high elevation and lots of sunshine) those covers start to disintegrate in 3 months.

That car is for sale on FB here is Texas, and I I can say is that I wish my car had been in that good of a condition when I started!

Same in this desert...sometimes in even less than a month if it's a cheap HF tarp. And they turn into little bits of blue "confetti" that gets into EVERYTHING!

I paid $500 earlier this month for a ~'71 parts Spider 850. The body on this red one may be in better shape (being in Texas), but mine was complete and the top and interior are in good, but dusty/dirty, condition. Just sharing for comparison - the original asking price was $2k, before I looked it over in person.
