this last pitcher is of Steve driving another competitor first gen MR2 his car was not set up the Steve H way . I think Steve tried to tell him the better way but I don't think he was vary receptive to Steve's suggestion's o'well my car with Steve driving it beet him.

I did not drive that day I was having relly bad lower back pain.

Hey, those are great!

Thanks for posting the pics and for the ride.

The car was great fun. It ran strong and smooth and with the exception of a minor electrical problem, did a great job.

The MR2 made more power but true to its heritage, the X ended up being faster.

I was attending the SCCA Pro Race weekend at the Autobahn Country Club which was literally, across the street from the Route 66 raceway where the Chicago Region was having a regular sunday autocross. So after three days of work, I blew off Sunday at the track and made runs at the autocross.

It was great to get back in an X1/9 again. :dance:
