Does anyone here do any pinstriping?
Being a working artist, I've always wanted to work on cars (cus.. I kinda grew up in a garage myself watching my dad and brothers work haha) and have finally gotten the ability to do so thanks to my Fiance. I recently got to learn how to stripe, and assist in working with Dallara87's Dallara.
I have my own project that we are working on now (73 1600 124 Sport Spider.. aka my Rustbucket soon to be the black widow), and I'm plotting a paint job. Since working on Dallara87's car, I've gotten a bit more confidence about trying my hand at pinstriping.
I'm not talking about laying down decals.. but actually getting the brush and laying down some lines.
So.. does anyone here do pinstriping, if so, how did you get started? Where is a good place to purchase supplies? And of course.. any tips..
If anyone has a pinstripes X or Spider I would love to see pics
